Htc One Mini – The Review

After the huge success done with the Htc One this company from Taiwan decided to launch a little brother called the Htc One Mini, they cut a few features make it a few inches smaller and voilà we have a nice little cheaper handset, but does it  work as good as the big brother.

Well to start of this HTC One Mini comes in elegant aluminium chassis available in  stealth black or glacial silver,  with a palm friendly curve on the back that gives a good feeling when  holding it on the hand, and it only  weights  122g  it is a very light phone. In the front we have a 4.3 inches touchscreen at a resolution of 1,280×720 pixels, which amounts to 341 pixels per inch with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It delivers a good quality image if watching HD movies and YouTube videos or high-resolution photos, supported by two speakers on the front top and bottom of the screen that HTC call the Boom Sound Speakers that delivers a fantastic sound.

The Htc One Mini comes with the same UltraPixel camera and brings most part of software modes from the One, which  means you can shoot four-megapixel photos, use HTC’s Smart Flash and get access to Htc Zoe, you can shoot up to full HD 1080p video with support for slow motion footage, fast HD at 60fps and HDR.The One Mini like the One impresses in this department and offers clear, vibrant video that is easy to upload and share. The main camera is backed up by a 1.6-Megapixel front-facing camera that supports 720P video recording.

Under the chassis there’s a dual-core, 1.4GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, along with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage, Wi-fi, Bluetooth, 2G, 3G, 4G, micro-usb, and GPS as connectivity  options, the Sim card size is a micro-sim slot (3ff) and to power all this it as a non-removable Li-Po 1800 mAh battery that gives a talk time of about 20 hours and on standby  up to 500 hours.

The Htc One Mini is up-to-date with Android 4.2.2 topped with HTC’s Sense 5.5UI including one their best feature HTC BlinkFeed. Blinkfeed works on the home screen it displays little tiles, with the latest information that the user chooses to read, it offers a variety of feeds from technology to science and you can include all the social feeds like Facebook, Twitter, Google+ quite cool.

So concluding this review HTC manage to deliver a small version of the HTC One, by introducing the HTC One Mini that only benefits the consumer, by having the choice to buy great phone by a more affordable price.
