Rumours suggesting that HTC is planning to launch the HTC One M8 Max still this year.
This Taiwanese manufacture had their first Max in 2013, after the huge success of the HTC One M7, a bigger version seemed a good idea so they built the HTC One Max, not having too much technical difference from the HTC One, apart from being bigger and had a finger scan on the back in which was not really big success, but this year HTC is planning something bigger and more exciting than their last HTC One Max, is not know the right name still, some call it the HTC One M8 Prime others HTC One M8 Max, we will keep the last one for now, seems to be the most related name.
HTC One M8 Max possible specs
It has been reported in a Chinese site (my drivers) that the HTC One M8 Max will have a 5.5inches, 2560*1440 pixels screen, the body will be a mix of aluminium and silicon making it waterproof, no finger scanner reported, and will have 3.000mAh battery. If this is confirmed this version will have smaller screen size but higher resolution that the last One Max, until now sounding pretty impressive.
HTC One Max will have an 805 Quad-Core Snapdragon processor supported by 3GB of RAM and is expected to be running the latest Android version the Android L and will have the support of HTC Sense latest version the HTC Sense 6.5.
On the cameras the HTC One Max M8 will be shooting images with an 18 mega pixels rear camera supported by OIS (Optical image stabilization), and we got nothing yet about the front camera.
Overall this possible specs make this new Max version one to watch, this device is expected to be launched in the U.K. between October and December.
The price for the new HTC One M8 Max, looking at the specs will say £550 to £600, and this being the main price of the main competitors as well, the Samsung Note 4 and the IPhone 6 Plus, is only logical that HTC will try to keep the same price tag.
